The BC35 weekend closed with guitar + drums duo, Cinema Cinema, joined by sax player David Lackner (Synthetic Love Dream, Blue Jazz TV) and bassist Mikel Dos Santos (The Realistics)
Creating pieces from the improvisations, along with editing and selective balancing, took weeks at a time per song –
a behemoth had been created.
Overdubs soon followed on the pieces that were written specifically for the event,
and in the case of some ensembles, a member would handle the mixing.
